The ICGN convenes the world’s premier international event on corporate governance each year in a different host country. In 2009, this will be held in Sydney, Australia between the 13-15 July at the Hilton hotel. The Hilton hotel provides spacious facilities and modern amenities, ideal for international conferences and meetings.

The Australian Minister for Corporate Law has welcomed the holding of the conference in Sydney reflecting Australia’s commitment to high standards of corporate governance.

The 2009 ICGN Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia will bring together investors, directors, policy makers and stakeholders in a dialogue with a focus on practical action. The event attracts around 500 delegates from over 45 countries.

The Social Program includes a Gala Dinner at the historic Doltone House at the newly restored Jones Bay Wharf.  Delegates will enjoy the location on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour, with views of the Harbour Bridge, city skyline, and Darling Harbour.

The Welcome Reception will take place in the Crystal Ballroom at Luna Park which offers panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour.  Under the new development, Luna Park retained its colourful 1930's fun park personality, including the famous main entrance Face and Towers.
