Ms. Mogi joined Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (formerly Sumitomo Trust Bank) in 1988. She began working in the Stock Transfer Agency Department in 1995 and she has served as Executive Manager at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group (formerly Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings) and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank from April 2021. Additionally, she is a member of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors and has participated in the working group for promoting constructive dialogue organized by Keidanren (Japan Business Federation).

Her expertise spans corporate law, corporate governance, and takeover defense. Since 2005, she has been involved in consulting projects related to takeover defense. Throughout her career, she has consistently supported the enhancement of corporate value and governance through business environment and financial analysis, as well as fostering effective dialogues between companies and investors. She possesses extensive experience in corporate governance and effective board structures and boasts an impressive portfolio of published books and papers in these fields.

1988年住友信託銀行（現三井住友信託銀行）入社。1995年より証券代行部所属。2021年4月より三井住友トラスト・ホールディングス（現三井住友トラストグループ）および三井住友信託銀行のフェロー役員。日本取締役協会会員。2018年より経団連「建設的対話促進ワーキンググループ」メンバー。

主な取扱分野は、会社法、コーポレートガバナンス、企業買収防衛。2005年より企業買収防衛コンサルを開始。以来、事業環境分析、財務分析、企業と投資家の対話の視点から企業価値向上とコーポレートガバナンスの向上を一貫して支援。企業買収防衛コンサルティング、コーポレートガバナンスに関するコンサルティング、機関設計に関するコンサルティング実績、これらの分野に係る著書・論文多数。
