Tetsuya joined KPMG AZSA LLC in 2001. He has been providing audit and advisory services to listed companies, including those with multiple industries.

Having been seconded to KPMG US, Silicon Valley, from 2008 to 2010 and Columbus from 2013 to 2016, he joined Accounting Advisory Services of KPMG Japan. He has been leading IFRS conversion projects for Japanese companies.

He has transferred to Sustainability Transformation Division and is currently leading ESG advisory services, especially for ESG reporting areas focusing on disclosure under CSRD, ISSB, and SSBJ. Additionally, he serves as the leader of the Disclosure and Process Service Line within the Sustainable Value Advisory Division. He also leads advisory services for Japanese companies preparing for mandatory disclosure of sustainability related information.

2001年あずさ監査法人に入社。さまざまな業種の上場企業に対する会計監査およびアドバイザリー業務等に関与。2008年から2010年にKPMG米国シリコンバレー事務所、2013年から2016年に同コロンバス事務所に赴任した後、あずさ監査法人のアカウンティングアドバイザリーサービス事業部に帰任し、日本企業のIFRS導入支援業務に従事。その後、サステナビリティトランスフォーメーション支援を行う部署に異動し、CSRD／ISSB／SSBJ等に基づくサステナビリティ報告を中心としたESGアドバイザリー業務をリードしている。また、制度に基づくサステナビリティ関連情報の開示に取り組む日本企業への支援サービスを行うグループの責任者を務める。
