Jae Aum is a seasoned assurance partner based in Seoul, Korea leading Capital Markets Group and Sustainability. Since his relocation to Korea in 2019, he focuses on sustainable audit quality and regulatory matters for cross border transactions. He served various roles in EY US firm’s national office and SEC prior to his relocation to Asia. Jae has over twenty years of experience in leading multidisciplinary global engagement teams serving various industry clients including corporate, investment products and various financial institutions. His industry exposure includes Fortune 100 technology companies, SEC registered management companies, banking institutions, various types of SEC, CFTC and CIMA registered investment companies as well as private companies. He is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at industry conferences for internal controls, accounting and auditing topics with SEC & PCAOB focus. He is also a firm’s leading resource for sustainability assurance and advisory.

Maureen was a civil servant for over 20 years, mostly within the different guises of the Department for Business Enterprise and Industrial Strategy (BEIS),  her last position being Head of Company Law and Reporting.  As part of that role she was responsible for a team who informed company law policy and supported Ministers on a number of legislative changes.

In 2017 Maureen moved on secondment to the Financial Reporting Council, working on the review of the UK Corporate Governance Code and then the introduction of the Wates Principles for Large Private Companies.  In 2020 Maureen was appointed Head of Corporate Governance at the FRC and recently completed the review of the Corporate Governance Code.  Following the retirement of David Styles, Maureen was recently appointed Acting Director, Corporate Governance and Stewardship.

Mr. Jinwoo Cho is currently serving as the Head of Corporate Value-up Support Department at the Korea Exchange (KRX). He is responsible for managing the Corporate Value-up Program and supporting listed companies in their efforts to enhance corporate value. Over the past two decades at the KRX, he has accumulated extensive experience across various capital market functions, including KOSDAQ market business, KOSDAQ listing examination, equity market rules, and ETFs. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Seoul National University, earned his MBA from Duke University in the US, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Dr Jinsuk Choi is a Senior Director at KIC, Korean Sovereign Wealth Fund. From 2016, he has mainly worked for developing the sustainable investment of KIC, managing sustainable programs with ESG analysis, and engaging the stewardship activities.

He was one of the initiative members in issuing Green & Sustainable Bond, which was issued globally by the Korean government for the first time in the world, and is also in charge of ESG strategic funds through global equity portfolio.

He has been cited in the media, including the Economist Intelligence Unit. He also participates as a panelist at many global seminars and conferences sponsored by IFC, etc. He has experiences to engage on government projects for the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Environment.

Dr. Choi is teaching at various educational institutions including the business school of Seoul National University, the BAN KI-MOON ESG Academy of UN Global Compact Korea and so on. He won the Bank of Korea President’s Award in 2017 and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance’s Award in 2021. He is co-author of ‘Era of ESG Investing’ published in 2021.

Yonghwan Choi, Head of ESG at NH-Amundi Asset Management, is directing ESG analysis, rating, and stewardship activities. In particular, he is focusing on enhancing the company’s ESG integration strategy in cooperation with Amundi, a leading global ESG Investment company with over €1 trillion in ESG investments.

Since 2025, he has served as a Korea Advisor for 「the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN)」. Since 2024, he has served as a member of the Investor Expert Committee of 「the Korea Sustainability Standards Board (KSSB)」 for 2 years. Since 2023, he has served as a member of 「the Green Finance Expert Committee of the Korea Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth」 for 3 years. Since 2021, he has served as the Founder and Chair of the Korea ESG Community (KEC), which currently has over 1,200 members for 6 years.

In recognition of his efforts, the Korean government awarded him the Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment Award in November 2025.

He actively contributes policy recommendations to improve governance in Korea by participating as a panelist in major roundtables and conferences hosted by the National Assembly, the Financial Services Commission, the Financial Supervisory Service, and the KRX. He also lectures on ESG at major universities such as KAIST, Seoul National University, and Sogang University, etc

He has worked as a Senior Analyst at SUSTINVEST, Eco-Frontier, and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), which are among the leading ESG analysis, ratings and proxy advisory firms in Korea.

He earned a master’s degree in Green Finance from the Graduate School of Business at KAIST, where he wrote his thesis on 「ESG Rating and Financial Performance of Korean Firms」

Kathlyn Collins is Head of ESG at Matthews Asia where she is responsible for overall ESG Strategy on the investment team, including implementation of ESG integration and active ownership activities such as company engagement and voting.

Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Kathlyn worked as an ESG & Global Strategy Analyst with Cartica Management LLC where she developed ESG integration and analyzed investments for portfolios, conducted company research and engagement, and wrote reports relating to Emerging Markets. She earned an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and an M.A. in Italian Studies from Middlebury College in Florence, Italy. Kathlyn has a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, Italian Language, Literature & Culture from Syracuse University.

She has been part of the faculty for the International Corporate Governance Network’s (ICGN) ESG integration course and is a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and speaks Italian and Spanish.

Elizabeth Ellicott is a Research Manager at Diligent Market Intelligence (formerly known as Insightia and, before that, Activist and Proxy Insight), a data services and news provider focused on shareholder engagement, investor voting, governance, and stewardship issues. In her 8 years at the company Elizabeth has primarily focused on researching and analysing shareholder activism globally, with the goal of providing data for clients and the financial press.

As Head of Research and Advocacy, Helena leads the research team and coordinates advocacy efforts across the Asia region, working closely with the ACGA’s Secretary General and secretariat team. Dr. Helena Fung (馮伊蓮娜) joined the ACGA in April 2025, prior to which she worked for the London Stock Exchange Group as Head of Sustainable Finance and Investment, Asia Pacific, where she was responsible for strategy, expansion and product development across the region, focused on indexes, data and analytics solutions. A core part of her role was regulatory engagement with policy makers and standard setters and stock exchange partnerships focusing on sustainability initiatives. Helena relocated to Hong Kong in 2014 from London – a key hub for ESG investments, where she worked for the responsible investment arm of Hermes Investment Management, enabling pension funds and asset managers to integrate sustainability criteria into passive and active portfolios. Helena’s experience includes ESG integration, equity analysis and advising on philanthropy for family office, asset management and institutional clients. She has been working in ESG and Sustainable Investment since 2008, including providing advisory research on stewardship implementation for pension funds and family office clients, drafting responsible investment policies and integrating sustainability policies into both active and passive portfolios. Helena has postgraduate qualifications in law and holds a professional investment qualification and a Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow.

Marianne joined Baillie Gifford in 2004 and has been integral to the firm’s evolving ESG resource and its integration across investment, operations, and client departments. Over the years, her role developed alongside the growth of the ESG function. It came to encompass research and analysis, stewardship responsibilities, client reporting, as well as engagement with institutional investors, regulators, and industry bodies worldwide.

Now based in Singapore, Marianne continues to focus on corporate governance and sustainability matters. She combines an international outlook with her growing appreciation of the cultural and regulatory nuances that shape governance and sustainability across Asia. 

Before joining Baillie Gifford, Marianne worked in environmental and geological survey roles within the offshore oil and gas sector. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh. Marianne also serves as a member of the ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) Ethics Board.

Dr. Hyunyoung Hwang is a Research Fellow at the Korea Capital Market Institute, specializing in policy research on corporate governance and capital markets. She has over a decade of experience across Korea’s executive, legislative, and judicial branches. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Hwang conducted research at the Ministry of Justice, followed by six years as a Legislative Researcher at the National Assembly. Between 2020 and 2022, she served as a Judicial Researcher at the Supreme Court, engaging in policy and judicial research in the fields of commercial and capital markets law. She has authored numerous papers and policy reports on corporate governance and has been invited as a guest lecturer at various academic and professional institutions. Dr. Hwang is a member of the Financial Development Review Committee and the Capital Market Investigation Deliberation Committee of the Financial Services Commission and serves on the Legislative Support Committee of the National Assembly. She also holds executive board positions in several academic associations related to commercial law in Korea.

Sungho Joo is the Executive Director of the Sustainability Standards Department at the Korea Accounting Institute (KAI), where he leads the development of Korea’s sustainability disclosure standards aligned with global frameworks such as ISSB standards. He previously served as a Visiting Fellow at the IFRS Foundation in London and as Head of the Planning and Strategy Team at KAI, contributing to international standard-setting coordination and institutional strategy.

Prior to joining KAI, he worked at Samsung SDS and Ernst & Young Korea. He holds Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Birkbeck, University of London, and is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Hye Sung Kim is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang. Her practice primarily focuses on corporate governance, ESG (environmental, social and governance), shareholder activism defense, capital market transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Kim has advised numerous multinational and domestic industrial corporations, financial institutions and financial advisors on matters relating to corporate governance (including corporate restructuring and other conflicts of interest transactions), shareholder activism defense, shareholder engagement planning, and a range of ESG issues. Ms. Kim has also advised on mergers and acquisitions, JV investment and portfolio investment as well as IPO transactions across industries.

Ms. Kim is a member of Korea Sustainability Standards Board of Korea Accounting Institute.

Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from Seoul National University in 2000, and a S.J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2018. She is a graduate of the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea (2003), and is admitted to both the Korean bar and the New York bar.

Dr. Kim is a Professor of Finance at Korea University Business School (KUBS) and a research associate of ECGI. Outside of school, he is the Director of Economic Reform Research Institute (ERRI) and the Solidarity for Economic Reform (SER). Previously, he was a member of Korea National Pension Fund’s Proxy Voting Advisory Committee. Dr. Kim holds a B.A. degree in International Economics from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. His current area of research is mainly in empirical corporate governance.

Changhwan Lee, who founded Align Partners (Align) in 2021 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He is also a non-executive director of SM Entertainment (KOSE:041510) and a board member of Korea Corporate Governance Forum (KCGF). Mr. Lee has led investments in Korean companies including SM Entertainment, Woori Financial Group (KOSE:316140), JB Financial Group (KOSE:175330), Doosan Bobcat (KOSE:A241560) and Coway (KOSE:A021240). 

Align is focused on utilising a local private equity investing approach to address the ‘Korea Discount’. AUM is US$538mm via Korea structure and Cayman vehicle, launched in February 2024. 

Prior to founding Align, Mr. Lee was a member of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR)’s Private Equity team in Korea, and started his career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. 

Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Seoul National University. 

Nana Li leads Impax’s sustainability research, stewardship strategy and policy advocacy across the Asia-Pacific region. She is responsible for overseeing sustainability analysis and engagement priorities, coordinating dialogue with investee companies and regulators, managing external sustainability- and stewardship-related inquiries, and contributing to the ongoing development of Impax’s proprietary sustainability frameworks and methodologies.

Prior to joining Impax in 2022, Nana served as Research and Project Director at the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA). During her tenure, she authored and co-authored multiple flagship research reports on corporate governance in Asia and regularly presented to regulators and market participants, including the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges and the Shenzhen Asset Management Association. Since 2018, Nana has chaired ACGA’s China Working Group, a role she continues to hold, and she remains a Specialist Consultant to ACGA following her transition to Impax.

Nana is a frequent speaker at international conferences and industry forums organised by financial institutions, multilateral organisations and market bodies, and she is regularly invited to contribute to discussions on corporate governance, stewardship and sustainability. She has been interviewed by leading international media outlets and serves as a guest speaker at universities in Asia, Europe and North America. In 2024, Nana co-authored Unlocking Corporate Success by the Power of Diversity, the first book to examine gender diversity in Japan from an investor perspective. She is also the author of Navigating Sustainability in Asia: A Practical Guide for Corporate Leaders and Investors, which provides an applied and region-specific perspective on sustainability, governance and stewardship across Asia-Pacific. In 2025, Nana was awarded the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) Excellence in Stewardship Award (the first Asian recipient), recognising her leadership and contributions to stewardship and policy advocacy in Asia.

Nana serves on the Stakeholder Advisory Council of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants. She is also a member of the Global Policy Committee of the ICGN, the Global Policy Reference Group of the Principles for Responsible Investment, the Advisory Group of the Global Capacity Building Coalition, the ESG Committee of Women in Finance Asia and the Caixin China ESG30 Forum. In addition, she participates in global standard-setting and capacity-building initiatives as a member of the IFRS Sustainability Reference Group and the Global Capacity Building Coalition Advisory Group. Nana is also an instructor with the Association of Stewardship Professionals.

Glenn Maguire is Head of Asia (ex-Japan), Australia, and New Zealand Research, overseeing the production of independent shareholder meeting analyses and voting recommendations, along with bespoke governance research and market insights, across 13 jurisdictions. His work bridges governance practice, capital markets, and real-world operating contexts—helping institutional investors navigate board accountability, shareholder rights, disclosure quality, and related-party risk in key Asian markets.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning economics and markets research, investment banking, commercial banking, and payments/technology, Glenn brings deep Asia-Pacific expertise built through sustained engagement with corporates, investors, regulators, and policy stakeholders. He is recognized for combining rigorous research with decision-useful judgment, ensuring transparency and stewardship in markets where local nuance matters.

Based in Sydney, Glenn holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle (Australia) and has completed postgraduate studies in data analytics and sustainable development.

Sachin is a Portfolio Manager at Palliser Capital, an alternative investment manager that applies a value-oriented, event-driven philosophy to investing across a range of distinct yet complementary strategies on a global basis.

He brings more than 20 years of investment, advisory and financial strategy experience across numerous developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Palliser Capital in 2021, he served as Portfolio Manager at LIM Advisors and before that as an Executive Director at Elliott Advisors. Sachin held various roles in the corporate finance department of UBS earlier in his career. He received a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Paul Murphy is Head of Governance & ESG Advisory APAC at Georgeson and is responsible for growing and executing Georgeson’s corporate governance and ESG advisory strategy in Australia/New Zealand and across the Asia Pacific region, working in partnership with Georgeson teams based in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Sydney and Melbourne.

Prior to joining Georgeson in May 2023, Paul was a Director on the Vanguard Global Investment Stewardship team responsible for portfolio company engagement, proxy voting, advocacy and thought leadership on investment stewardship issues in Australia. Prior to that, Paul led Vanguard’s Australian government relations and regulatory affairs functions as Head of Advocacy and Strategy and played a key role in the establishment of Vanguard’s re-entry into the Australian superannuation (pension fund) industry in 2021.

Before joining Vanguard, Paul gained over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has held roles across strategic marketing, financial education and advice, industry advocacy, public affairs and stakeholder relations in organisations such as UniSuper, the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors, the Australian Investment Managers’ Association and the Victorian State Government.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Monash University and a Masters in Organisational Leadership from Melbourne Business School. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Dr. Oh is the head of Stewardship Code Center in the KCGS, responsible for practical works of stewardship code. He joined the KCGS in 2011 after obtaining the Ph. D in Business Administration at Texas Tech University. He was awarded the Civil Merit Medal from Korean Government in 2022 for his efforts to develop sustainable finance policies. He currently works as a member of the Central Environment Policy Committee in the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, the Corporate Value-up Advisory Group in the Korea Exchange (KRX), and the Compliance Policy Development Advisory Committee in the Association of Compliance Officers (ACOF).

Yoo-Kyung Park is former Managing Director of the Emerging Markets Equities, Fundamental Strategy Team at APG Asset Management, an asset manager for Dutch pension funds, based in Hong Kong. Her main role was to manage the overall operation and performance of the team, which involved overseeing the investment process, embedding Responsible Investment into the investment process, and formulating overall investment strategy and policies.

Before joining the EME team, she headed the APAC Responsible Investment & Governance team at APG. Prior to APG, she was a securities analyst at international investment banks such as Barings Securities and KEB Salomon Smith Barney. She has covered a range of industry sectors including power/gas utilities, consumer, transportation, and heavy industries such as steel, chemicals and refining.

Jackson Rowland is dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable finance. He is currently the Director of the Aotearoa New Zealand Stewardship Code, a framework for investors to use their influence to steer the companies they own on critical environmental, social and corporate governance issues..

Previously, Jackson completed graduate study as an Obama Scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York, studying sustainable finance, and was the Director of Ākina Invest at the Ākina Foundation. He has also worked with several startups and as a lawyer in one of New Zealand’s leading law firms. He currently serves as a Board Trustee for Make a Wish New Zealand and was previously the Oceania lead for the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. He holds bachelor’s degrees in law and science from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Simon Rumore is the Managing Director and Co‑Founder of Peakstone Global, a board and governance advisory firm supporting organisations across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia–Pacific region. With more than 15 years of specialist governance and investor stewardship advisory experience, and over two decades serving on boards, Simon is recognised for advancing high standards of corporate governance, board effectiveness and responsible stewardship in complex organisational environments.

Simon’s board career spans the private and not‑for‑profit sectors, with experience in industries including professional services, technology, financial and insurance services, health and social services, mining, transport and utilities. He has held significant governance roles including being Deputy Chair of organisations going through mergers and acquisitions, and has chaired committees overseeing governance, risk, compliance, nominations, remuneration, strategy and stakeholder engagement.

He currently serves as a member of the ICGN Global Policy Committee, contributing to global policy thought leadership on governance standards and investor responsibilities. Simon is also an active investor and director in several early‑stage companies and has served as trustee of family‑founded enterprises in professional services and funds management.

Simon’s career started in recruitment and progressed into organisational development, human resources, HSEC leadership and interim executive roles, supporting ASX‑listed, government and not‑for‑profit organisations across the Asia Pacific. His cross‑sector experience and cultural fluency in regional and international contexts underpin his pragmatic approach to governance and board performance.

A certified coach and mentor, Simon works closely with non‑executive directors to strengthen individual and board capability.

Akiko has served as Team Leader of the Corporate Accounting and Disclosure Division of the Financial Services Agency (FSA) since July 2024. She is responsible for corporate governance reform in Japan as well as regulatory matters related to corporate control. She joined the FSA in 2011.

From 2022 to 2024, she worked as Senior Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). As a member of the Secretariat of the OECD Corporate Governance Committee, she contributed to the 2023 revision of the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance and the 2023 edition of the Corporate Governance Factbook.

From 2019 to 2022, she served as First Secretary at the Permanent Delegation of Japan to the OECD, where she participated in the meetings of the OECD Committee on Financial Markets and supported coordination between the Government of Japan and the OECD.

Jen is the CEO of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).

Led by investors with AUM of over $US 100 trillion, ICGN aims to strengthen markets and create long term value through effective corporate governance policy and practice. Jen represents ICGN on the Japanese Financial Services Agency’s Council of Experts and on the IFIAR stakeholder working group and the PCAOB IAG.

Jen joined ICGN from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was EMEA Head of Stewardship, driving engagement, proxy voting and industry collaboration efforts. In that role, Jen was a member of the Investment Association Company Reporting and Auditing Group and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Investor Advisory Committee. In 2022 Jen was also a member of the US Council of Institutional Investors Corporate Governance Advisory Council.

Previously, Jen was Deputy Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs at the UK Financial Reporting Council, responsible for coordinating outreach with the global investment community, listed company leadership teams and board members across all areas of the regulator’s scope. Jen led policy outreach on ESG, audit and reporting matters including the creation of the 2020 UK Stewardship Code and the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code.

Jen started her career at PwC.

Jen holds a BA in Business, Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.

Joanna is the Chief Operating Officer of Stewardship Asia Centre (SAC), a thought-leadership centre established under Temasek Trust in Singapore. The Centre fosters stewardship and governance across Asia through its research and outreach platforms. 

Joanna joined SAC when the Centre started in 2014 and was initially responsible for establishing its outreach and engagement platforms, extending the partnership network across Asia-Pacific.  As Senior Vice President, she is also now heading the corporate and operational functions that have developed alongside the growth of the Centre. She is also the acting secretariat and an active member of the Steering Committee that looks after the Singapore Stewardship Principles for Responsible Investors, an initiative that helps shape positive corporate behaviour by encouraging investors to be responsible and active stewards. 

Joanna has extensive events research and management experience, having worked in this field for several years across a wide range of geographies and industries, but mainly focused on family business, tech and tourism sectors.  She was the Deputy Director of Conferences at Forbes Asia, developing strategic processes for organizing and managing the Forbes Global CEO Conference and other networking platforms around the region.  She has also led large-scale events and customer experiences for tech companies, driving projects from Singapore with global experts.  

Prior to joining Stewardship Asia, Joanna was a Group Publisher for Tourism at TTG Asia Media where she was responsible for managing the advertising revenue, editorial and distribution for a portfolio of publications.  She holds a BA in Media and Communications from RMIT, and specialised in film studies and history. 

Mr. Jaesik Sohn is currently the General Director of the ESG Policy & Disclosure Department at the Korea Exchange (KRX). He is responsible for establishing ESG policies and overseeing disclosure frameworks, specifically focusing on Corporate Governance Reports and Sustainability Reports. With over 20 years of extensive experience at KRX, he has built a diverse career covering various areas, including emissions trading, global marketing, commodities and derivatives, KOSDAQ regulation, market oversight, and public relations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a Master’s degree in International Commerce from Korea University, an MBA from KAIST, and a Ph.D. from Sejong University.

Flora Wang is Head of Stewardship, & Portfolio Advisor at Fidelity International.

Flora leads the global Stewardship & Research team at FIL and is based in HK. Her team works closely with the fundamental investment team on company ESG research, engagement and voting. She is also the Portfolio Advisor for the FIL Asia ESG Fund. Before joining FIL, Flora was the head of Investment Stewardship for the Greater China markets at BlackRock. Prior to joining BlackRock, she led the China and Taiwan Research at Institutional Shareholder Services.

Flora is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council, the independent regulator of the accounting profession in Hong Kong. She also sits on the Public Shareholders Group, an external committee of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. She also sits on the global steering committee of the Climate Action 100+ initiative and co-chairs the China working group of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change.

Flora holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Lee Kong Chain School of Business at Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Tsinghua University.

Mr Cheol W Park currently serves as the Investor Relations Executive Officer at Shinhan Financial Group.
 

Mr Park joined Shinhan Financial Group in 2002 and has held various roles, including positions in Corporate Strategy, International Business Development, and Subsidiary Management. After more than a decade with Shinhan Financial Group, he transitioned to Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management as the Head of the Corporate Strategy Management Office. In this role, he oversaw governance, strategy, finance, and HR for the asset management joint venture between Shinhan Financial Group and BNP Paribas, the French banking group. During his six years at the asset management company, he was also responsible for international sales and the development of the asset management business before heading the role of the Corporate Management Office.
 

In 2018, Mr Park returned to Shinhan Financial Group’s holding company, where he has been actively promoting IR activities through transparent communication with investors. Following a reorganization in January 2024, the IR function was further strengthened, and the position of IRO was elevated to an executive level, reflecting the growing importance of shareholder engagement.
 

Mr Park holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, UK. He completed his British A-levels and Scottish Highers at Hutchesons Grammar School in Glasgow, Scotland.
 

After his education, Mr Park fulfilled his public duty in the Republic of Korea Air Force as a junior officer in logistical planning, working closely with USAF officers stationed in Korea. He currently resides in Seoul and has been happily married for 22 years, with his wife and two sons.

Dongsub Yi, was appointed Head of Global Responsible Investment and Governance Division of National Pension Service Korea Investment Management in January 2021. National Pension Service Korea is one of the world’s largest pension fund by total assets with AUM of USD 630 billion as at end of June 2022. Dongsub Yi, is responsible for responsible investment and corporate governance policies of National Pension Service Korea Investment Management.

Dongsub joined NPS in October 2019 and took role as Head of Corporate Governance Team and Head of Responsible Investment Team.

Prior to joining NPS, Dongsub worked in Corporate Strategy Division at LG U+, a major telecommunication company in Korea. Before that, he served various roles in financial industry, including, portfolio manager at Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management and head of research center at SK Securities.

Dongsub holds M.S. and B.A. degree in Business Administration from Chung-ang University.
