Amy Borrus is the former executive director of the Council of Institutional Investors. She led CII from July 2020 until she retired on June 30, 2024. She joined CII in 2006 as deputy director and was interim executive director in 2015-2016. Prior to CII, she was a correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine for more than 20 years. Her journalism career included multi-year assignments in London, Tokyo and Washington, D.C. She currently serves on the board of the Sinai Assisted Housing Foundation. She earned an MSc. in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in History and English from the University of Pennsylvania.

Willie joined the IAASB in January 2019. He leads the IAASB team in advancing the IAASB’s strategy and work program and works closely with the IAASB Chair in managing the activities of the Board.

Willie has a broad range of experience in different aspects of the audit profession, after previously serving as a Senior Executive at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Senior Technical Specialist at the Auditor General South Africa and an audit partner and technical director at an audit firm. Willie was also the head of the Department of Accounting, and Associate Professor of Auditing, at the University of Pretoria.

He has previously served as a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountant’s Assurance Guidance Committee and the South African audit regulator’s Committee for Auditing Standards.

Currently Head of Stewardship and Integration at Universities Superannuation Scheme (Ltd), Ian joined Newton Investment Management in 1998 and was appointed as its first Head of Corporate Governance and, latterly, was the Head of Responsible Investment.

During his 24 years with the firm, Ian developed and expanded, globally, Newton’s approach to responsible investment, which included determining the house views and approaches in relation to environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters. As Head of Responsible Investment, Ian was responsible for ESG considerations throughout Newton’s investment process. This included establishing, implementing and communicating all ESG policies, principles, engagement, voting and research.

Aided by his team of Responsible Investment Analysts, Stewardship Analysts and ESG Data Analysts, together with the wider investment staff; Newton conducted investment research on ESG matters, engaged with companies, reported on stewardship activities and made active voting decisions, globally. In addition, Ian played a key role in determining Newton’s approach to sustainable investment and the evolution of fund strategies. Ian is also involved in shaping the debate on matters relating to ESG and stewardship through his membership of a variety of formal and informal groups.

Ian is a member of an Investment Committee and is a director and Trustee of a UK-based charity.

Chuck joined IFC in July 2004 and is a highly experienced advisor in corporate governance, having played a key role in developing various methodologies and toolkits for IFC. He is the main author of the IFC Updated Corporate Governance Methodology, Control Environment Toolkit, Disclosure and Transparency Toolkit, and co-authored the IFC Climate Governance Methodology. Chuck has extensive experience as an auditor and tax advisor with international accounting firms as well as legal experience as a corporate and securities attorney with international law firms. Chuck has a J.D. with a concentration in International from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Accounting from Elmhurst University. Of note, Chuck won the 2024 International Corporate Governance Network award for Excellence in Corporate Governance.

Verity Chegar was appointed as a full-time member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in June 2022, effective 15 July 2022.

Prior to becoming an ISSB member, Ms Chegar held a variety of ESG investment leadership positions. Most recently, she led the California State Teachers’ Retirement System’s (CalSTRS) policy on sustainable investment and stewardship issues and managed the pension fund’s work to reach its net zero ambition.

Before that Ms Chegar worked at BlackRock, where she integrated ESG into the investment process across the firm’s global portfolio management group of public and private investment teams and advanced the consideration of material environmental and social issues for engagement and proxy voting teams. Before BlackRock, she was a sustainability research analyst at Allianz Global Investors, rating the sustainability performance and outlook of global technology and global healthcare companies for investment implications. 

Ms Chegar also has a wealth of sustainability standard-setting expertise. She began participating in SASB’s standard-setting process in 2014 as a member of the SASB Standards Council’s Sub-Committee on Metrics. She went on to serve as an inaugural member of the SASB Standards Board from 2017 and as Co-Vice Chair from 2018 to 2022. She also served as Board Liaison to the SASB Standards Investor Advisory Group. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College in the US

Fabio Coelho is the CEO of Amec, the Brazilian Capital Markets Investors’ Association, representing over 60 institutional investors in Brazil and abroad. He has extensive experience in financial regulation and supervision, with a career spanning the capital markets, banking sector, and pension fund systems. Before leading Amec, he served as Chairman of the Brazilian Pension Regulator, where he also held positions as Chief Economist and Commissioner for Actuarial, Accounting, and Economic Affairs.

He has held leadership roles in key regulatory and governance forums, including Chair of the Brazilian Committee for Regulation and Supervision of Capital Markets, Chair of the National Commission of Actuaries, and member of the Investors Group of IFIAR (International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators). Fabio also served as Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Brazil.

A civil engineer by training, he holds a Master’s in Finance from Coppead, a PhD in Economics from the Catholic University of Brasília, and is a frequent lecturer on corporate governance, sustainability, and investment strategy for institutional investors.

Didier Cossin works with owners, boards and senior leaders to help them improve performance through best-in-class governance and decision making. He is the Chairman of PNYX Group, which coordinates and manages investments for large asset owners such as sovereign wealth funds using governance principles. He is also the Founder and Director of the IMD Global Board Center and holds the UBS Chair in Banking and Finance at IMD. Professor Cossin is the originator of the Four Pillars of Board Effectiveness methodology and an advocate of stewardship, the idea that leaders should aim to deliver positive long-term social and economic impact.

He is an expert in the governance of investments, including how Stewardship can be integrated in the investment process all the way through to asset allocations and not only in asset selection and engagement.

Cossin defines governance as the art of decision making at the top of organizations and says better governed investors and corporates outperform their peers because they are better protected against downside risks and more agile and able to profit from upside opportunities. He favours an adaptive and interactive approach to find distinctive solutions for organizations, based on the social, geopolitical, technological and economic transformations in different regions of the world. Cossin has worked as an advisor and executive teacher to supranational organizations (United Nations, European Central Bank, World Bank, IFC, International Olympic Committee) and sovereign wealth funds and state investors (PIF in Saudi Arabia, ADQ in Abu Dhabi, Temasek in Singapore), as well as ministries, central banks, wealthy families and the boards or executive committees of corporations, financial institutions and funds in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East. He also advises non-profit organisations such as the Red Cross or IUCN (the International Union for Conservation of Nature) on governance. He is currently Senior Advisor in Governance to UNICEF and to the International Organization for Standardization. 

He is the author of two books on governance: Inspiring Stewardship and High Performance Boards and has published articles in leading journals such as Management Science, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Computational Finance and MIT Sloan Management Review. He is also a columnist for CEOWORLD magazine.

Cossin is President of the Stewardship Institute, whose goal is to support projects with positive social impact through research and advocacy. He is also a member of the American Finance Association, the Eastern Finance Association, and the European Finance Association.

Jennifer Coulson has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.   She began her career in the mutual fund business working for a national firm that specializes in responsible investing solutions. At BCI, she oversees a team of multidisciplinary professionals integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) across all asset classes; engaging with companies to manage ESG risk; developing public policy submissions on ESG matters of broad relevance to the investment industry; and overseeing the proxy voting program for Public Markets. Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Environment & Resource Management from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University. She has attained the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D) and is Chair of the Vancouver Island Chapter of ICD. She chairs the Investor Group of the 30% Club of Canada which promotes diversity across corporate Canada. Jennifer volunteers her time mentoring young professionals as part of the Investment Advisory Committee for the University of Victoria Student Investment Fund; is a member of St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation Investment and Finance Committees; and a Director on the board of Science World.

Dr. Peter Crow is an independent director, advisor and educator, best known for his expertise in
corporate governance, strategy, and boardcraft, and extensive record helping boards govern with impact.

He has served on the boards of over twenty private companies, family businesses and social enterprises;
advised hundreds of boards, chairs, institutions and governments; and taught on post-graduate and
director development courses. He also speaks and writes on topical issues. A dynamic and outcomes-oriented thinker with broad sector knowledge and real-world experience, his insightful contributions have proved invaluable to the fortunes of enterprises across five continents.

Peter holds a doctorate in corporate governance and strategy, a first in technology and management, and
is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors. He lives in New Zealand but works globally.

Emily DeMasi leads EOS North America engagement.  As a senior engager in North America she also co-leads the human capital theme team. Prior to joining the EOS team, she spent nearly a decade in the socially responsible investing field, first as an academic publishing her graduate thesis on corporate social responsibility in commercial banks, then as a portfolio manager and investment adviser integrating the social and financial objectives of her clients into her investment process.  Her diverse background also includes non-profit fundraising, impact investing and community investing, as well as serving as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. She earned her MBA and Master of Public Policy from Duquesne University and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University.

Corinne Dougherty is the Sustainability Audit Leader for KPMG US. Based in Washington, DC, she has significant experience providing sustainability reporting and assurance services coupled with over 20 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to clients. This extensive background positions her at the intersection of sustainability strategy and reporting, where she frequently engages with the media and clients to provide insightful education and practical guidance.

In her role, Corinne spearheads initiatives to upskill KPMG professionals in sustainability, driving the integration of sustainable practices across all of KPMG’s services. Her commitment to education extends beyond KPMG; she served as an adjunct professor for four years, teaching graduate courses in the Masters of Accountancy program at The George Washington University.

Corinne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant. She also earned an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business, underscoring her dedication to advancing sustainability in the business world.

Anthony Garcia is a Director and Head of Americas Stewardship for the Blackrock Active Investment Stewardship Team (BAIS). The BAIS team, established in January 2025, works in partnership with BlackRock’s investment teams, excluding index equity, providing expertise on investment stewardship, engaging with companies on behalf of those teams when appropriate, and assisting in recommending, operationalizing and reporting on voting decisions. The team engages companies and others in the investment stewardship ecosystem to promote the governance and business practices aligned with financial value creation by the companies in which BlackRock invests on behalf of clients.

Mr. Garcia also represents the BAIS team in various industry groups and events such as the Investor Advisory Group of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and other networks that seek to align investor and corporate views around stewardship, reporting, and governance matters. He also serves on the ISSB Sustainability Reference Group which is a technical advisory group of subject matter experts that help inform research and standard-setting projects.

Mr. Garcia joined Blackrock in 2025. Previously, he managed the investment stewardship function at Nuveen, a TIAA company and also lead the ESG integration function for equities as part of the Nuveen Responsible Investing team. He has experience working with global institutional investors on proxy and other ESG-related matters as a member of the custom research team at Institutional Shareholder Services. He has held a variety of other research-oriented roles across legal and financial services.

Anthony Garcia received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hamilton College and a juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University.

Michael Garland is Assistant Comptroller for Corporate Governance and Responsible Investment in the Office of the New York City Comptroller’s Bureau of Asset Management. In this role, he and his team are responsible for developing and implementing the corporate governance programs for the five New York City retirement systems, which have over $280 billion in assets under management, including voting proxies, engaging portfolio companies on their environmental, social and governance policies and practices, and advocating for regulatory reforms to protect investors and strengthen shareholder rights.  He has spearheaded initiatives that have shaped market practices, including driving the widespread adoption of EEO-1 Report disclosures to improve corporate transparency on workforce demographics and advancing proxy access bylaws, enabling long-term shareholders to more easily nominate directors.

Mr. Garland currently serves on the Grant & Eisenhofer ESG Institute Oversight Board and represents the Comptroller on the board of Ceres, a nonprofit mobilizing investor and business leadership to address climate change and foster a sustainable economy. He has previously served as public fund co-chair of the Council of Institutional Investors’ board of directors and as a member of the SASB Standards Investor Advisory Group (IAG).

Before joining the Comptroller’s Office in 2010, Mr. Garland led corporate governance and sustainability initiatives for the AFL-CIO Office of Investment and the CtW Investment Group, which he co-founded within the Change to Win labor federation. Earlier in his career, he financed middle-market corporations at National Westminster Bank USA and provided financial consulting at Locker Associates.

Mr. Garland holds a Master’s in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a focus on labor and regional economic development, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics with distinction from the University of Virginia.

Diana Glassman is Stewardship Director at EOS at Federated Hermes Limited, which engages portfolio company directors and senior executives on behalf of institutional investor clients with over $2 trillion in assets under advice. She focuses on business strategy, risk management, sustainability and systemwide AI oversight encompassing digital governance, human capital and organizational change, and datacenter energy considerations. Diana looks after the technology and oil & gas sectors, some of the largest financial institutions, and board effectiveness across sectors. She led the global team that won the 2024 International Corporate Governance Network’s Excellence in Stewardship Award.

Diana navigates growth and transformational change at the intersection of energy, technology and geopolitics across public and private markets. She has driven strategy, M&A and merger integration, privacy and data protection policy, employee engagement and organizational change in complex global enterprises. She is also an independent director of Helix Energy Solutions Group (NYSE: HLX), which provides underwater robotics services to offshore energy clients, a member of the US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Investor Advisory Group, INSEAD/KPMG AI Governance advisory council, and participated in the 2025 US Army War College National Security Seminar (NSS). She previously held positions of increasing responsibility at TD Bank, Credit Suisse, PwC and a private equity firm and its portfolio company. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Biology) at Yale University, MPA (International Political & Economic Development) at Harvard Kennedy School, and MBA at Harvard Business School. 
 

Fabrice Houdart is a human rights and corporate social responsibility specialist with 20 years of experience at the World Bank and the United Nations. He is the founder of the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors and cofounded Koppa, a 501(c)3 working on LGBTQ+ economic empowerment in the global south. Through his consulting firm, he advises Fortune 500 companies, including L’Oréal. 

At the UN, in the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights, he co-authored the UN Corporate Standards of Conduct for Business, the largest LGBTQ+ corporate social responsibility initiative supported by more than 500 companies.  He volunteers on the Boards of several non-profit organizations (Housing Works, the Institute of Current World Affairs, the IDAHOBIT Committee, and the CUNY TV Foundation). He is an Advisor to the Board of Open for Business, a UK nonprofit focused on making the business and economic case for LGBTQ+ inclusion. He lives in NYC with his twelve-year-old children, Eitan and Maxime.

Comptroller Brad Lander serves as New York City’s chief financial officer, leading an office of roughly 800 public servants in their work to promote the financial health, integrity, and effectiveness of city government and secure a more thriving and sustainable future for all New Yorkers.

As investment advisor and custodian for the City’s public pension funds, Comptroller Lander stewards the retirement security of over 750,000 current and retired public sector workers, with a prudent, diversified, long-term approach to the City’s investments and obligations. Under Comptroller Lander’s leadership, three of the City’s funds have adopted a detailed plan to reach net zero emissions by 2040, among the most aggressive in the nation. The plan includes divesting from fossil fuels, engaging asset managers and portfolio companies toward decarbonization across the economy, and dramatically scaling up investments in climate solutions.

Comptroller Lander serves as the City’s budget watchdog and chief accountability officer. His audits revealed nearly a quarter of a billion dollars underreported in NYC Ferry expenditures, inadequate cost controls in Covid-19 emergency procurement, and the ineffectiveness of the City’s homeless sweeps.

Comptroller Lander’s team published the first detailed report on emergency shelter costs for asylum seekers and identified more effective strategies for addressing the humanitarian crisis. The office launched the Department of Correction Dashboard to provide much-needed transparency into City jails. And his initiative with Mayor Eric Adams to pay nonprofit human service providers on time has reduced nearly year-long payment delays.

As Comptroller, Lander has strengthened the office’s efforts to combat the climate crisis, create and preserve affordable housing, and protect workers. His Public Solar NYC plan includes an innovative “public option” to scale up rooftop solar and create good green jobs. Under his leadership, the NYC pension funds led shareholder advocacy through which most Starbucks investors voted for an independent review of the company’s labor and human rights policies and actions.

As part of his commitment to New York City’s thriving and sustainable future, Comptroller Lander is focused on improving the City’s public infrastructure. As of July 2023, Comptroller Lander has managed the issuance of a total of $7.8 billion in municipal bonds to invest in schools, parks, transportation, water and sewer, and climate resiliency projects. The office’s public finance work includes innovative social bonds and tender solicitations that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in savings, even amid rising interest rates. Comptroller Lander also worked with the Adams Administration to improve the City’s capacity to ensure infrastructure projects are built on time and on-budget.

Prior to being elected Comptroller in 2021, Lander spent 12 years in the City Council, where he co-founded the Council’s Progressive Caucus and won transformative changes to expand workers’ rights, secure tenant protections, create affordable housing, integrate and strengthen the district’s public schools, and make streets safer. He served previously as the director of the Fifth Avenue Committee and the Pratt Center for Community Development.

Brad lives with his wife, Meg Barnette, in Brooklyn where they raised two children, Marek and Rosa, who still roll their eyes at his dad jokes.

Nana Li leads Impax’s sustainability research, stewardship strategy and policy advocacy across the Asia-Pacific region. She is responsible for overseeing sustainability analysis and engagement priorities, coordinating dialogue with investee companies and regulators, managing external sustainability- and stewardship-related inquiries, and contributing to the ongoing development of Impax’s proprietary sustainability frameworks and methodologies.

Prior to joining Impax in 2022, Nana served as Research and Project Director at the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA). During her tenure, she authored and co-authored multiple flagship research reports on corporate governance in Asia and regularly presented to regulators and market participants, including the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges and the Shenzhen Asset Management Association. Since 2018, Nana has chaired ACGA’s China Working Group, a role she continues to hold, and she remains a Specialist Consultant to ACGA following her transition to Impax.

Nana is a frequent speaker at international conferences and industry forums organised by financial institutions, multilateral organisations and market bodies, and she is regularly invited to contribute to discussions on corporate governance, stewardship and sustainability. She has been interviewed by leading international media outlets and serves as a guest speaker at universities in Asia, Europe and North America. In 2024, Nana co-authored Unlocking Corporate Success by the Power of Diversity, the first book to examine gender diversity in Japan from an investor perspective. She is also the author of Navigating Sustainability in Asia: A Practical Guide for Corporate Leaders and Investors, which provides an applied and region-specific perspective on sustainability, governance and stewardship across Asia-Pacific. In 2025, Nana was awarded the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) Excellence in Stewardship Award (the first Asian recipient), recognising her leadership and contributions to stewardship and policy advocacy in Asia.

Nana serves on the Stakeholder Advisory Council of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants. She is also a member of the Global Policy Committee of the ICGN, the Global Policy Reference Group of the Principles for Responsible Investment, the Advisory Group of the Global Capacity Building Coalition, the ESG Committee of Women in Finance Asia and the Caixin China ESG30 Forum. In addition, she participates in global standard-setting and capacity-building initiatives as a member of the IFRS Sustainability Reference Group and the Global Capacity Building Coalition Advisory Group. Nana is also an instructor with the Association of Stewardship Professionals.

Nana holds an MBA (Honors) from the University of Chicago, a Master of Finance from the University of Hong Kong (Dean’s List), and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales (Distinction). She is a CFA charterholder and has completed the HKICPA Qualification Programme.

Jeremy A. Lieberman is Pomerantz’s Managing Partner. He became associated with the Firm in August 2004 and was elevated to Partner in January 2010. Jeremy led the securities class action litigation In re Petrobras Securities Litigation, which arose from a multi-billion-dollar kickback and bribery scheme involving Brazil’s largest oil company, Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, in which Pomerantz was sole Lead Counsel. The biggest instance of corruption in the history of Brazil ensnared not only Petrobras’ former executives but also Brazilian politicians, including former president Lula da Silva and one-third of the Brazilian Congress. In January and February 2018, Jeremy achieved a historic $3 billion settlement for the Class. This is not only the largest securities class action settlement in a decade but is the largest settlement ever in a securities class action involving a foreign issuer, the fifth-largest securities class action settlement ever achieved in the United States, the largest securities class action settlement achieved by a foreign Lead Plaintiff, and the largest securities class action settlement in history not involving a restatement of financial reports.

Jeremy also secured a significant victory for Petrobras investors at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, when the court rejected the heightened ascertainability requirement for obtaining class certification that had been imposed by the Third Circuit Courts of Appeals. The ruling will have a positive impact on plaintiffs in securities fraud litigation. Indeed, the Petrobras litigation was honored in 2019 as a National Impact Case by Benchmark Litigation.

Jeremy was Lead Counsel in Pirnik v. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. et al., No. 1:15-cv-07199-JMF (S.D.N.Y), in which the Firm achieved a $110 million settlement for the class. Plaintiff alleged that Fiat Chrysler concealed from investors that it improperly outfitted its diesel vehicles with “defeat device” software designed to cheat NOx emissions regulations in the U.S. and Europe, and that regulators had accused Fiat Chrysler of violating the emissions regulations. The Fiat Chrysler recovery provided the class of investors with as much as 20% of recoverable damages—an excellent result when compared to historical statistics in class action settlements, where typical recoveries for cases of this size are between 1.6% and 3.3%.

In November 2019, Jeremy achieved a critical victory for investors in the securities fraud class action against Perrigo Co. plc when Judge Arleo of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey certified classes of investors that purchased Perrigo securities on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Pomerantz represents a number of institutional investors that purchased Perrigo securities on both exchanges after an offer by Mylan N.V. to tender Perrigo shares. This is the first time since Morrison that a U.S. court has independently analyzed the market of a security traded on a non-U.S. exchange, and found that it met the standards of market efficiency necessary allow for class certification.

Jeremy heads the Firm’s individual action against pharmaceutical giant Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. (together, “Teva”), and certain of Teva’s current and former employees and officers, relating to alleged anticompetitive practices in Teva’s sales of generic drugs. Teva is a dual-listed company, and the Firm represents several Israeli institutional investors who purchased Teva shares on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In early 2021, Pomerantz achieved a major victory for global investors when the district court agreed to exercise supplemental jurisdiction over the Israeli law claims. Clal Insurance Company Ltd. v. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

In 2019, Jeremy achieved a $27 million settlement for the Class in Strougo v. Barclays PLC, a high-profile securities class action in which Pomerantz was Lead Counsel. Plaintiffs alleged that Barclays PLC misled institutional investors about the manipulation of the banking giant’s so-called “dark pool” trading systems in order to provide a trading advantage to high-frequency traders over its institutional investor clients. This case turned on the duty of integrity owed by Barclays to its clients. In November 2017, Jeremy achieved precedent-setting victories for investors, when the Second Circuit Court of Appeals held that direct evidence of price impact is not always necessary to demonstrate market efficiency to invoke the presumption of reliance, and that defendants seeking to rebut the presumption of reliance must do so by a preponderance of the evidence rather than merely meeting a burden of production. 

Jeremy led the Firm’s securities class action litigation against Yahoo! Inc., in which Pomerantz, as Lead Counsel, achieved an $80 million settlement for the Class in 2018. The case involved the biggest data breaches in U.S. history, in which over 3 billion Yahoo accounts were compromised. This was the first significant settlement to date of a securities fraud class action filed in response to a data breach.

In 2018 Jeremy achieved a $3,300,000 settlement for the Class in the Firm’s securities class action against Corinthian Colleges, one of the largest for-profit college systems in the country, for alleged misrepresentations about its job placement rates, compliance with applicable regulations, and enrollment statistics. Pomerantz prevailed in the motion to dismiss the proceedings, a particularly noteworthy victory because Chief Judge George King of the Central District of California had dismissed two prior lawsuits against Corinthian with similar allegations. Erickson v. Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (C.D. Cal.).

Jeremy led the Firm’s litigation team that in 2018 secured a $31 million partial settlement with three defendants in In re Libor Based Financial Instruments Antitrust Litigation, a closely watched multi-district litigation, which concerns the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) rigging scandal.

In In re China North East Petroleum Corp. Securities Litigation, Jeremy achieved a significant victory for shareholders in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, whereby the Appeals Court ruled that a temporary rise in share price above its purchase price in the aftermath of a corrective disclosure did not eviscerate an investor’s claim for damages. The Second Circuit’s decision was deemed “precedential” by the New York Law Journal and provides critical guidance for assessing damages in a § 10(b) action.

Jeremy had an integral role in In re Comverse Technology, Inc. Securities Litigation, in which he and his partners achieved a historic $225 million settlement on behalf of the Class, which was the second-largest options backdating settlement to date.

Jeremy regularly consults with Pomerantz’s international institutional clients, including pension funds, regarding their rights under the U.S. securities laws. Jeremy is working with the Firm’s international clients to craft a response to the Supreme Court’s ruling in Morrison v. National Australia Bank, Ltd., which limited the ability of foreign investors to seek redress under the federal securities laws.

Forbes calls long-time institutional investor Jon Lukomnik one of the pioneers of modern corporate governance.  Jon is the managing partner of Sinclair Capital LLC, a strategic consultancy to institutional investors, adjunct Professor and Brandmeyer Fellow at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where he teaches sustainable investments to graduate students. He is also  a Senior Fellow at the High Meadows Institute and was the Pembroke Visiting Professor at the Judge Business School at Cambridge for the winter 2020 semester.

Jon is the co-author with Dr. James Hawley of “Moving Beyond Modern Portfolio Theory: Investing That Matters” (Routledge 2021).  It has received widespread praise as the first unified theory of investing that examines why investors should care about — and try to influence — systemic risks that cause non-diversifiable risk in the capital markets. His most recent book, “Adapt or Fail: A 5×5 Governance Framework for Boards of Directors” (DeGruyter, 2025) was co-written with Rick Funston.

Jon has been the investment advisor or a trustee for more than $100 billion (including New York City’s pension funds) and has consulted to institutional investors with aggregate assets of more than $2 trillion dollars. He served for more than a decade as the executive director of the IRRC Institute. He  currently serves asa trustee on the Van Eck mutual funds, insurance trusts and European UCITs. He was previously a member of the Deloitte Audit Quality Advisory Committee, and the Standards and Emerging Issues  Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.   Jon co-founded the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) and GovernanceMetrics International (now part of MSCI)

His previous books include  What They Do With Your Money, and  “The New Capitalists”, which was a Financial Times pick of the year. Both were co-written with Stephen Davis and David Pitt-Watson. In total, Jon has written more than 200 academic and practitioner articles. Jeffrey P. Mahoney joined the Council of Institutional Investors as general counsel in 2006. His responsibilities include advocating the Council’s membership-approved policies before standard setters, regulators, members of Congress, and other policy makers.

Prior to joining the Council, Mahoney was counsel to the chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board. From 1996-2006, he advised FASB and its parent entity, the Financial Accounting Foundation, on a variety of research, technical and administrative matters, and was primarily responsible for FASB’s Washington, D.C. liaison activities.

Prior to joining FASB, Mahoney was a corporate securities lawyer at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP; a law clerk to the Honorable James G. Exum Jr., chief justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court; and an auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mahoney holds a J.D. degree, served on the North Carolina Law Review, and was named to the Order of the Coif. He also holds a B.B.A. degree and an A.A. degree

Mahoney is a member of the District of Columbia and North Carolina Bar Associations and is admitted and qualified to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He also is a certified public accountant in North Carolina and Michigan, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Cristina Martin Firvida was appointed as the Investor Advocate at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in January of 2023. She leads an office that advocates for investors by assisting them in interactions with the Commission and with self-regulatory organizations (SROs), analyzing the impact on investors of proposed rules and regulations, identifying problems that investors have with financial service providers and investment products, and proposing legislative or regulatory changes to promote the interests of investors.

Prior to her appointment at the SEC, Ms. Martin Firvida was the Vice President for Financial Security and Livable Communities at AARP, where she oversaw federal and state advocacy on Social Security, pensions, retirement savings, financial services and other aspects of financial security, as well as the federal budget, taxes, labor, housing, telecommunications, utilities, transportation, and fraud. She was previously AARP’s Director of Financial Security and Consumer Affairs from 2008 to 2018.

Prior to joining AARP, Ms. Martin Firvida was Director of Government Relations and Senior Counsel at the National Women’s Law Center, a leading research and advocacy organization for women’s equality and economic independence. She also worked at the Children’s Defense Fund as a Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center.

Ms. Martin Firvida is a graduate of Cornell Law School and Yale University, where she studied Philosophy. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, and is a native Spanish speaker.

Aeisha Mastagni is the senior portfolio manager in the Sustainable Investment and Stewardship Strategies unit of the California State Teachers’ Retirement System, the largest educator-only pension fund in the world. She is responsible for working with a dedicated team to further CalSTRS’ mission of securing the financial future and sustaining the trust of California’s educators.

Aeisha is part of the team that oversees the Sustainable Investment Portfolio and leads CalSTRS’ stewardship efforts, which includes proxy voting, corporate engagement and working with regulatory authorities on market-wide issues.

During her time at CalSTRS, Aeisha has become a prolific media spokesperson and participates in interviews concerning environmental, social and governance topics, including proxy voting, executive compensation and corporate climate disclosures. She speaks with both notable mainstream and pension industry outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters and Pensions & Investments.

In 2012, Aeisha joined the board of directors at Golden 1 Credit Union, one of the nation’s largest credit unions with more than $14 billion in assets and one million members. In 2015, she joined the board of the Council of Institutional Investors, whose mission is to be the leading voice for effective corporate governance, and in 2023, she was elected chair of the CII board.

Before joining CalSTRS, Aeisha worked in the Corporate Governance unit of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System for six years, overseeing the proxy voting program and the corporate governance manager portfolio. Prior to CalPERS, she worked in Operations at Salomon Smith Barney before moving to Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor and assistant operations manager. Aeisha has a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, Sacramento.

Catherine McCall is CEO of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance, a not-for-profit organization celebrating its 20^th anniversary in 2023, which represents Canada’s leading institutional investors. As CEO, Catherine is responsible, together with the Board of Directors, for setting the strategy of the organization, leading policy development, overseeing regulatory advocacy and participating in CCGG’s board engagement program. She is a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee and a member of the International Corporate Governance Network’s Global Policy Committee. Catherine holds the ICD.D designation.

Representing the interests of institutional investors which collectively manage approximately $5.8 trillion of assets, the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance CCGG promotes good governance practices, including the governance of environmental and social matters, at Canadian public companies and assists institutional investors in meeting their stewardship responsibilities. CCGG also works to improve of the regulatory environment to best align the interests of boards and management with those of their shareholders, and to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the Canadian capital markets.

Mr. McCauley’s is responsible for active corporate governance strategies for the Florida Retirement System (FRS) as well as investment program management for the Florida PRIME™ local government investment pool (2a-7-like) and other non-pension investment mandates totaling over $34 billion. He manages global corporate engagement activities, equity proxy voting, investor initiatives and regulatory affairs. He is also a member of the SBA’s Senior Leaders Group and Investment Committee, which is responsible for investment and operational oversight across all SBA portfolios. He serves as Corporate Secretary for both the Florida Water Pollution Financing Corporation and the Inland Protection Financing Corporation. Prior to these duties, Mr. McCauley oversaw investment communications, managed the administration of the defined contribution component of the FRS, and was responsible for investment research across all asset classes within the Chief Investment Officer’s unit.

Massimo was born in Rome on May 2, 1973. He holds a Law degree from La Sapienza University of Rome, where he completed his thesis in business law under the mentorship of Professor Berardino Libonati. He also earned a Master’s degree in Legislative Science and Techniques from ISLE.

Massimo joined Assogestioni in 2001 and currently serves as Director of Institutional Affairs. He is also Secretary of Assogestioni’s Corporate Governance Committee and of the Investment Managers’ Committee, and a member of the Technical Secretariat of the Italian Corporate Governance Committee. In addition, he sits on the Management Committee of the Italian Compensation Scheme and is a member of the Oversight Committee of the Best Practice Principles Group (BPP).

He is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, awarded by the President of the Italian Republic in 2021 for special merits.

Elizabeth is a Partner working in KPMG’s Asset Management practice and has over 15 years of experience serving both public and private clients.  Elizabeth is a leader in KPMG’s ESG audit practice, with a focus in serving the ESG and Impact measurement and reporting needs of asset managers.  With extensive experience providing financial statement audit and internal control related performance improvement advisory to asset management clients, Elizabeth has been actively involved in the development of the KPMG U.S. approach to ESG assurance and reporting readiness for private and public companies, including asset managers and their investment funds.  This development has been informed by experience leading engagements to assure social impact of private equity funds, use of proceeds of green bonds, standalone greenhouse gas emissions reports and full corporate responsibility reports.  Additionally, Elizabeth is actively advising clients in best practices for operationalizing their ESG reporting priorities.  Elizabeth speaks regularly on various topics, including the role of the auditor with ESG information and the key elements of a reliable measurement and reporting process.

Nell Minow is Vice Chair of ValueEdge Advisors. She was Co-founder and Director of GMI Ratings from 2010 to 2014, and was Editor and Co-founder of its predecessor firm, The Corporate Library, from 2000 to 2010. Prior to co-founding The Corporate Library, Ms. Minow was a Principal of Lens, a $100 million investment firm that took positions in underperforming companies and used shareholder activism to increase their value. Her other professional experience includes serving as a Principal of Lens Investment Management, as President of Institutional Shareholder Services, Inc., and as an attorney at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Department of Justice. Ms. Minow was named one of the 30 most influential investors of 2002 by Smart Money magazine and, in 2003, was dubbed “the queen of good corporate governance” by Business Week online. In 2007 she was named as one of the 20 most influential people in corporate governance. In 2008 she was the sole recipient of the International Corporate Governance Network award for exceptional achievement in the field of corporate governance. She has authored over 200 articles and co-authored three books on corporate governance with Robert A.G. Monks, most recently the 5th edition of an MBA textbook titled Corporate Governance, published in 2011. Ms. Minow is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and the University of Chicago Law School.

Caitlin Moyna is a principal at Grant & Eisenhofer P.A., a global leader in complex plaintiffs’ litigation focusing largely on protecting shareholders rights in securities fraud and corporate governance litigation. Caitlin is based in New York, and has over 20 years of experience in U.S. and foreign securities fraud class action and opt-out litigation, shareholder derivative actions, merger litigation, and international arbitration. She is responsible for achieving significant recoveries for investors in many of those practice areas. Caitlin currently represents lead plaintiffs in securities class actions against Exxon, Snowflake, Verizon, and BioXcel, and previously helped achieve significant recoveries for defrauded investors from General Electric ($362.5 million), Santander Consumer USA ($47 million), and ProPetro ($30 million), among others. She has also represented investors who opted out of securities class actions, including those against Valeant, Merck, and Citigroup.

Carol was named the Governance and Stewardship Policy Manager for ICGN in October 2021, in which she will support the Global Governance and Global Stewardship Committees, among other duties. She will continue her participation as a Faculty Member of the ICGN’s Education and Training programmes.

Carol is the CEO & Founder of Carlow Consulting, LLC, a business she started in January 2017 to provide consulting on corporate governance, ESG programs and reporting, federal legislative and regulatory matters. She is a licensed attorney.

Carol’s career began as an Assistant County Prosecutor and Assistant City Attorney. She served within the administrations of three Ohio governors, one as a Cabinet director and as Chair/Vice Chair on several boards and commissions. Carol was appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees for a large institutional investor, the Ohio Deferred Compensation Board, and the School Facilities Commission. She received four resolutions from Governors for excellence in public service and nominations for the Neil V. Toth Leadership Award. Carol received two Catalyst Team Awards, the Business and Professional Women’s Outstanding Woman in the Legal Profession award and the Governor’s All-Star Award for participation on the Joint Health Care Committee.

She served five years on the Council of Institutional Investors (CII) Board, including the positions of Treasurer and Chair of the Audit and Policies Committees. Carol was the co-Chair of the ICGN Shareholder Responsibilities Committee (SHREC) for three years, under which the Committee updated the Diversity on Boards and Share Lending Guidelines. She has authored several articles on governance and ESG best practices, and regularly speaks on corporate governance issues.

Carol is a cum laude graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the Claude W. Pettit College of Law, Ohio Northern University.

Tejal is the Executive Director of the SOC Investment Group, which works with pension funds sponsored by unions affiliated with the Strategic Organizing Center (SOC), a coalition of unions representing more than two million members, to enhance long-term shareholder returns through active ownership.

Tejal joined the SOC Investment Group in 2016 as Corporate Governance Director, leading shareholder advocacy efforts on key issues including human capital management, executive compensation, and human rights. In her current role, she has worked with other investors to advance strategies for issuer engagements, shareholder proposals, director accountability, and asset manager outreach. Tejal has a proven track record of developing innovative shareholder strategies, having helped lead on the Investors for Opioid and Pharmaceutical Accountability coalition, the civil rights audit shareholder proposals, and most recently the Starbucks’ proxy contest.

Prior to the SOC Investment Group, she worked at a major proxy advisory firm and practiced law as a transactional attorney, representing institutional lenders in a variety of commercial finance transactions and advised public and private companies on securities law related matters. She currently serves as a director and the Labor Constituency Co-Chair for the Council of Institutional Investors (CII) and previously served on CII’s U.S. Asset Owners Advisory Council from 2019-2021.  She also serves as a member of The Civil Rights Audit Standards Committee. She holds a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a MSc. from the London School of Economics. 

Sandra Peters leads CFA Institute’s advocacy efforts related to the information investors need for investment decision-making. 

She leads a team responsible for tracking policy developments related not only to corporate disclosures but also all information needed for investment decision-making including ESG information and alternative data. 

She serves as spokesperson for CFA Institute to policymakers, standard setters, and regulators (e.g., IASB, FASB, SASB, ISSB, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, European Commission, etc.) and conducts outreach to other professional organizations and the media to discuss and promote data for investment decision-making.   

Sandy has an extensive and well-balanced background as an investor, preparer, and auditor. Sandy previously served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at MetLife Inc. Prior to joining MetLife, she was a partner at KPMG LLP providing audit services primarily for insurance and financial services companies. 

She is currently a member of the Public Interest Oversight Board (PIOB) and the PCAOB’s Investor Advisory Group as well as the Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group. Sandy was previously a member of the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee and the IFRS Interpretation’s Committee (IFRS IC), the PCAOB’s Standing Advisory Group and the FASB’s Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC).

Sandy is a CPA licensed in various states within the U.S. and has earned the CFA designation. Sandy also holds the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Director Certificate (NACD.DC). 

She holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University. 

Luz Rodriguez has over twelve years of experience in corporate governance and investment stewardship, where she has been a strong advocate for shareholder rights and regulatory reforms that foster trust in global capital markets.

At Colorado PERA, Luz Rodriguez leads the corporate governance and proxy voting activities. She also contributes to the development and implementation of the investment stewardship program for the $61 billion Association. The Investment Stewardship Division ensures compliance with PERA’s proxy voting guidelines; monitors company engagement activity; and provides reports to the Investment Committee of the PERA Board of Trustees.

Luz also serves as a member of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) Board, where her responsibilities include oversight and strategic planning for the organization. In addition, she serves on the ICGN Audit and Risk Committee, Financial Capital Committee, and Policy Oversight Committee.

Prior to joining the Investment Stewardship Division, Luz was the Director of the Legal Services and Corporate Governance Division at PERA. She was responsible for overseeing PERA’s administrative review process, implementing securities litigation policy, coordinating internal and external counsel, managing proxy voting, engaging with companies and partnerships in which Colorado PERA invests, and reporting to the Shareholder Responsibility Committee of the PERA Board of Trustees.

After graduating with a degree in accounting from the University of Colorado in 2003, Luz worked in investment accounting and was responsible for the pension payroll for Colorado PERA, which is the 23rd largest pension plan in the United States, serving nearly 700,000 current and retired Colorado public servants.

Anastasia Rotheroe is a Principal Investment Officer-Public Equities for the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds (CRPTF). She has over 20 years of global investment experience as a portfolio manager and an asset allocator. She also serves as the Director of Corporate Governance.

Jackson Rowland is dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable finance. He is currently the Director of the Aotearoa New Zealand Stewardship Code, a framework for investors to use their influence to steer the companies they own on critical environmental, social and corporate governance issues..

Previously, Jackson completed graduate study as an Obama Scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York, studying sustainable finance, and was the Director of Ākina Invest at the Ākina Foundation. He has also worked with several startups and as a lawyer in one of New Zealand’s leading law firms. He currently serves as a Board Trustee for Make a Wish New Zealand and was previously the Oceania lead for the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. He holds bachelor’s degrees in law and science from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Junichiro Sano is a steering committee member of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors(JACD)　and mainly acts as the Chief Liaison Officer of the International Relation Division . He has been studying and promoting the Japanese corporate governance reform on site.

Mr. Sano started his career at Nikko Securities in 1978. After 7-year service as the institutional sales manager for the US major institutional investors in NY, he returned to Tokyo HQ in 1989 as the manager of the CEO office.

He was assigned to promote “the Modern Portfolio Theory” to the Japanese investment community. He firstly introduced the passive products such as the index fund and the hedge fund strategy to the Japanese investment community. He also helped creating several joint ventures of “the Quant’s investment group” with Wells Fargo, Barra and Dr. W. Sharpe of Stanford University.

In 1999, he joined Nikko Citigroup Securities, born in the huge merger among with Nikko, Salomon Smith Berney, Travelers group and Citi group.

He served as the managing director of the equity division. He was a regional head of the Global Sales Committee of the Citigroup and also a representing member of the diversity committee of Citigroup.

He joined Dalton Investment LLC in 2006, the value investment firm based in Los Angeles USA, and he served as the president of the Dalton Investment KK, Japan. He serves currently as senior advisor for the Dalton investments group.

Besides above activities, he was appointed the board member of the Nippon Koa Insurance Company（Sompo Holding at present）2008-2012, one of the major non-life insurance companies listed TSE in Japan. He helped to raise company’s corporate value and assisted the merge with the Sompo Japan insurance company on behalf of the shareholders anticipation.

He is the managing partner of the Carpe Vinum Japan Fund since 2015 and he travels often to Bordeaux and Bourgogne for the wine fund DDQ with his local partners and recently Mr. Sano is called as “Wine Samurai” by his local chateaux friends.

Marina Severinovsky is the Head of Sustainability, North America, and leads the sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration for Schroders investments in North America. She collaborates with senior managers on market strategy, client communications, product development, sales, and investor management.

Marina was previously the Investment Director for North America for the Quantitative Equity Products (QEP) team from 2020 and was responsible for communicating QEP’s investment policy and strategy with clients, as well as business management in the Americas.

Prior to joining the QEP team, Marina was an Investment Strategist from 2016 to 2019, working in partnership with Hartford Funds to represent Schroders strategies to financial advisors and intermediaries across all client channels, primarily in the Central US region.

Marina was an Alternatives Specialist at Schroders from 2010 to 2016, which involved supporting the development of Schroders’ Alternatives business in the Americas. Her product management activities covered multiple strategies, including Commodities, Absolute Return Emerging Market Debt and Insurance Linked Securities.

Marina joined Schroders in 2010 and is based in New York. Prior to joining Schroders, she was an Associate in Investment Banking at Citi Capital Markets and Banking from 2008 to 2010, which involved supporting buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt transactions, and fairness opinions for a broad range of corporate clients in the Healthcare and Tech, Media & Telecom coverage groups. She was a Consultant and Client Relationship Manager at Digital Mandate, LLC from 2005 to 2007, which involved providing legal technology, process consulting, and technology optimization solutions to large law firms and corporate legal departments. She was an Analyst at Chicago Partners, LLC from 2004 to 2005, which involved finance, economics and accounting consulting, in the context of litigation and regulatory review activities. 

Marina brings 18 years of professional experience to her role at Schroders, including economic analysis, research, and financial modeling, as well as product development, strategy, and client relationship management. She is conversationally fluent in Russian. 

David is Head of Stewardship, Sustainability and Impact at Martin Currie and has over 35 years of experience in the investment industry.  He joined Martin Currie in 2004 as a global portfolio manager and since 2015 has been Head of Stewardship and Sustainability leading on all aspects of Stewardship and Sustainability across the Martin Currie investment teams and the wider business. This includes oversight of sustainability integration, engagement and proxy voting. David is also co-deputy chair of the UK Investment Association’s Sustainability and Responsible Investment Committee and is co-chair of the Franklin Templeton Stewardship and Sustainability Council, a forum which brings together the key investment leaders from the different asset classes across the group. His prior experience includes 18 years at Aegon Asset Management (formerly Scottish Equitable), where he was a portfolio manager covering global equities and developing and directing Aegon’s global strategy.

David has a BSc in Mathematics from University of Edinburgh and is a holder of the Securities Institute Diploma.

As Head of the ESG Research and Engagement Team, Priti works to promote sustainable investments within the firm and throughout the industry. Her Team aligns the firm’s ESG approach to inform internal and external stakeholders on ESG issues across mandates, including producing ESG research, leading the firm’s active ownership efforts, and advancing ESG integration. She has extensive experience in ESG research, having worked at a major global finance company as part of the ESG research, ratings and investment solutions team. She began her career in sustainability at a United Nations agency in Geneva, Switzerland, and gained work experience within the Indian chambers of commerce. Priti holds a B. Comm. with Honours from the University of Delhi, an M.A. in sociology from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D in Accounting and Finance with a focus on ESG Integration from Kingston Business School. She is also a member of Responsible Investment Association’s (RIA) Leadership Council and Climate Engagement Canada’s (CEC) Industry Leadership Advisory Panel. 
 

Harinderjit is a Fellow member of Institute of Directors (F.IOD) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA, ICAI). He is also a Former Central Council Member of ICAI and retired senior Assurance Partner of Price Waterhouse LLP including being member of the Governance Board , leader of Technical and regulatory functions of the Firm where he spent more than 3 decades of his professional life in India.

Harinderjit has specialization in Financial Reporting, Governance & Audit and managing clients across diverse industries, people development, profitable growth, and mentorship while contributing in areas such as training and public speaking. He has also served as Chairman of Committees/Board of ICAI and is a founding member and former President of the Alumni Association of a premier college, Delhi University coupled with his active involvement in various professional, global and local committees/forums of IFAC, MCA (ministry of corporate Affairs), SEBI (securities and Exchange Board of India, Chambers of commerce (FICCI, CII). He is a B. Com (Hons) graduate from Delhi University and has a post-graduation diploma in management studies from the University of Mumbai. He is Qualified to be  a Independent Director and is registered in the Databank of MCA. Additionally, he has certifications/trainings in various areas such as Directors, CSR, BRSR, Social Audit, and Digital Transformation, enriching board governance and promoting best practices. His dedication extends to advising NGOs/NPOs on rural education, social, and professional development, driving positive change in the society.

Miekela is the Director of Investment Stewardship at GMO leading firm-wide public company engagements, providing corporate governance insights and supporting the proxy voting function. Prior to joining GMO in 2024, she was a Principal on the Sustainability Team at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP). Ms. Singh sat on the Human Capital Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, the Corporate Governance Advisory Council of the Council of Institutional Investors, and the Investor Stewardship Committee for the Pension Investment Advisory Committee. Ms. Singh earned her bachelor’s degree from McMaster University, her MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics, and her JD from the University of Ottawa.

Jen is the CEO of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).

Led by investors with AUM of over $US 100 trillion, ICGN aims to strengthen markets and create long term value through effective corporate governance policy and practice. Jen represents ICGN on the Japanese Financial Services Agency’s Council of Experts and on the IFIAR stakeholder working group and the PCAOB IAG.

Jen joined ICGN from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was EMEA Head of Stewardship, driving engagement, proxy voting and industry collaboration efforts. In that role, Jen was a member of the Investment Association Company Reporting and Auditing Group and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Investor Advisory Committee. In 2022 Jen was also a member of the US Council of Institutional Investors Corporate Governance Advisory Council.

Previously, Jen was Deputy Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs at the UK Financial Reporting Council, responsible for coordinating outreach with the global investment community, listed company leadership teams and board members across all areas of the regulator’s scope. Jen led policy outreach on ESG, audit and reporting matters including the creation of the 2020 UK Stewardship Code and the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code.

Jen started her career at PwC.

Jen holds a BA in Business, Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.

Daniel is the Director of ESG & UK Client Services and co-head of Pomerantz’s recently opened London office. Pomerantz LLP is the oldest law firm in the world dedicated to representing the rights of defrauded investors, and one of the most highly respected. Daniel is responsible for providing a high quality and dedicated service to UK pension funds and institutional investors to ensure they are set up to recover monies lost due to corporate misconduct anywhere in the world.

Daniel was previously Head of Corporate Affairs at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) – the UK’s largest pension fund. He was responsible for USS’s external affairs and public relations, including government engagement and corporate communications, for both the pension and investments businesses. Prior to that, Daniel co-headed the Responsible Investment Team at USS Investment Management where he was responsible for the stewardship of the companies, funds and assets in which USS invests by engaging on key governance issues and market-wide risks as part of the internal investment process

Prior to USS, he was the Head of Corporate Governance at the Institute of Directors.

Mike serves as Group President of Funds, Issuer, and Data-Driven Solutions, ICS since July 2025, following his role as Co-President of ICS. He directly oversees our Mutual Fund Regulatory, Retirement and Workplace, Corporate Issuer, and Data & Analytics businesses, as well as ICS Governance and Risk. Throughout his career at Broadridge, Mike has served in several leadership positions, including as the Head of Strategy and M&A, and Chief Transformation Officer, ICS. Before joining Broadridge, he was the Director of Investments for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) at the U.S. Department of Treasury and held positions at Merrill Lynch and McKinsey & Company.

Jenn is responsible for the firm’s approach to sustainability across corporate operations and client service areas, including investment management, advisory and personal investment platform services and retirement solutions. He is deputy chair of the firm’s Sustainable Investing Operating Committee and a member of its Enterprise Senior Leadership Team.

Externally, he is a Board Governor of the International Corporate Governance Network, a member of the Advisory Board of the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation and a member of the Advisory Council to the IFRS Foundation.

Jenn joined Fidelity International in 2007 from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a corporate finance lawyer advising on capital market and M&A transactions. He holds an LLB Law degree from the University of Durham.

Michael Wolf is a global economist at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd. He provides commentary and analysis on global economic issues that affect the firm and its clients. He has been quoted by various media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal and NPR. Michael began his career as an economist at the U.S. Labor Department and has since held economist positions at Moody’s Analytics, Wells Fargo Securities, and PwC. He has two graduate degrees, one in economic policy from Columbia University, and the other in statistics from Baruch College. Michael also has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
