This practical and interactive workshop will bring together investors, auditors and audit committee leaders to explore how to improve understanding, communication and engagement around the audit process. Sessions will include a technical teach-in on how to read an audit report, a sector-focused discussion with senior audit partners on current audit and assurance challenges, and facilitated roundtable discussions on how investors, auditors and audit committees can engage more effectively in practice.The workshop is designed to encourage direct exchange of perspectives and will provide lots of opportunities for you to share your views.

Engage directly with senior auditors on what they do and how investors can better understand and assess audit quality. The discussion will explore the indicators investors can use to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the external audit. Get insights from senior audit practioners to inform what questions investors could ask audit committee chairs to better understand how they oversee, challenge and assess the performance of the external auditor.
