Antonio Cusimano

Trained as a lawyer, Antonino Cusimano has extensive experience as General Counsel within multinational groups, with responsibilities covering legal affairs management, international law, corporate governance, global dispute resolution, compliance and anti-bribery matters, and risk management. He has lived and worked in London, Paris, and Pittsburgh.

Since 2018, he has served as Senior Corporate Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Nexans SA, the world’s second-largest cable manufacturer. Listed on Euronext Paris, the group operates across various business sectors, including smart cities, smart grids, offshore wind farms, and renewable energy.

In 2016–2017, Antonino Cusimano was Vice President and Group General Counsel of CMA CGM SA, the world’s third-largest shipping company, headquartered in France.

From 2008 to 2016, he held the position of Group General Counsel, Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs, and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Telecom Italia.

Between 2006 and 2008, he worked at General Electric Oil & Gas in Florence, serving as Senior Counsel for Global Services and Transactions / Senior Counsel for M&A.

From 1994 to 2006, he was with PPG Industries International in Paris, where he held various roles before being appointed, in 2000, as General Legal Counsel for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

He holds a law degree from the University of Palermo and has also pursued legal studies in the United States.

Antonino Cusimano has been serving as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Acea S.p.A. since April 18, 2023.

Will co-leads the climate change theme at EOS, the stewardship arm of Federated Hermes Limited, where his coverage includes companies in Europe and Australia, primarily financial services, energy, chemicals, and materials. Prior to joining EOS, Will worked in the energy and infrastructure investment banking team at Macquarie Capital, where he specialised in renewable energy. Before that, Will held a number of roles across the UK climate policy space, including as a parliamentary researcher for Rt. Hon. Chris Skidmore MP on climate and energy issues, and as a climate and economic policy analyst at a diplomatic institute. He was appointed as a voluntary adviser to Rt. Hon. Alok Sharma MP, President of COP26, on preparations for COP26 after co-founding a Westminster climate policy group in 2019, which engaged MPs and Members of the House of Lords to advocate for more ambition on climate action in public policy. Will has a Bachelor’s degree (1st Class Honours) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
